Hope Clinic is a charitable medical clinic serving adults in Pamlico, Craven, and Beaufort Counties who are uninsured or underinsured and do not have access to affordable healthcare.
Patients may qualify with household income up to 300% of the Federal Poverty Level and are not eligible for Medicaid.
​
Many of our patients are working individuals or families who cannot afford health insurance, choose not to enroll due to cost, or have family members who are not covered under their plan. Hope Clinic helps fill this gap by providing access to care for those who might otherwise go without.

COMMUNITY
Since Hope Clinic's opening in 1999, we have served more than 3,000 individuals without health insurance, who would otherwise have had little or no access to care.

In 2024, with the help of 2776 volunteer hours, we provided services to 205 unduplicated patients, consisting of 568 medical office visits (which included 22 mobile outreach clinics in 5 locations), 163 specialist referrals, 143 case management visits, 78 drug and alcohol counseling visits, and dispensed 3,687 prescriptions. We also provided 219 case management visits to non-patients of Hope Clinic, who were looking for help and resources, mostly searching for substance use treatment and recovery support.
